Data Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Data Engineer for a contract with a client based in Phoenix, AZ . This opportunity is ideal for candidates with strong data engineering experience, particularly in cloud environments and pipeline development.

Pay Rate : $53.03 – $68.18 / hour on W2. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Data Engineer Job Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain robust data pipelines to support business and analytics needs.

Automate data workflows for improved operational efficiency.

Implement effective monitoring and observability systems using tools like Grafana

Continuously optimize data processes and infrastructure for performance.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation to support engineering workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Strong command of SQL and data querying techniques.

Hands-on experience with ETL / ELT tools and pipeline technologies such as Dataflow and Dataplex

Proficient with monitoring tools like Grafana and related observability frameworks.

Deep understanding of distributed systems and scalable architecture.

Skilled in data modeling and resolving complex data warehousing challenges.
