Space Planning Specialist
The primary responsibilities of the Space Planning Specialist are to lead reset implementation and draw sets utilizing space planning software, maintain the space tracking and financial tracking forms, analyze sales reports to create space planning / reset proposals and ensure that all assigned accounts are set in accordance with the schematic.
Essential duties and responsibilities :
Competencies required :
Education : Basic training in an office or operations. Knowledge of basic office software and office technology, or warehouse / delivery technology. First-line production supervisors over semi-skilled operations, and the like. Equivalent to 1-3 practical trades or training.
Experience : Over 6 months up to and including 12 months.
Mental / Visual / Auditory Demand : Continuous mental and visual attention; usually repetitive work or diversified operations requiring constant alertness or activity.
Working Conditions : Somewhat undesirable working conditions. Exposed to noise, dust, heat, oil, and other elements but with none continuously present to the extent of being disagreeable.
Initiative and Ingenuity : Requires the use of judgement to plan, perform, and make decisions as to the sequence of setups, operations, and processes within the limitations of recognized or standard methods and procedures.
Physical Demand : Moderate physical effort consisting of :
Responsibility for Equipment : Limited makes minor adjustments to equipment; however, equipment is not "sensitive", and damages are unlikely under normal use and care.
Responsibility for Material or Product : Works with parts / materials where errors usually would be detected and could be reworked without major loss of materials.
Responsibility for Safety of Others : Only reasonable care to own work necessary to prevent injury to others and accidents, should they occur, would be minor in nature, such as cuts, abrasions, burns, bruises, etc.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations : Clean driving record (MVR) or within CDC / CPB Driving Points Policy.
Language Skills : Requires the ability to read, write, complete simple forms and understand simple written instructions. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills : Requires the ability to perform arithmetic skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division including decimals and fractions. Could require simple use of formulas, charts, tables, drawings, specifications, schedules or diagrams.
