Responsibilities
Evaluate and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies under the guidance of a respiratory therapist.
- Administer medications and treatments based on patient outcomes, under appropriate supervision.
- Deliver and assess patient response to ordered therapy.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition.
- Provide patient education for diseases, medications, and treatment.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration :
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education :
- Degree from program specific to discipline within 6 months of Date of Hire.
