We are seeking a visionary and experienced Vice President of Finance to join our executive team and play a pivotal role in our continued growth and success.
Responsibilities :
- Provide strategic financial leadership and guidance to the CFO and senior management team.
- Oversee the development and execution of the hospital's annual operating budget, ensuring compliance with all state, local, and federal regulations.
- Manage the Finance Department, including revenue cycle, medical records, purchasing, accounting, accounts payable, payroll, patient access, and general stores.
- Lead a team of talented finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, forecasts, and analyses to the CFO, Board of Directors, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure timely and accurate compliance with all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, GAAP, and Medicare cost reporting.
- Manage cash flow and debt financing activities to optimize financial performance.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
- Partner with other departments to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in healthcare finance.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Hospital / Healthcare finance leadership roles.
- Proven track record of success in developing and managing complex budgets.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and accounting standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
- Experience with healthcare information systems (HIS) is a plus.
