About the Team

VIZIO is seeking an Office Assistant, Contractor to join our Irvine office team. VIZIO’s success depends on our people, productivity, process, and procedures. An office assistant is the supportive force driving each of these areas, and we’re currently seeking someone stellar to take the reins. The ideal professional for the role is a flexible problem solver with superb communication skills and a detail-oriented mindset. They should have prior experience thriving in an administrative capacity in an office environment. Multitasking and the unique ability to deftly handle the unexpected are essential qualities to bring to the position. This role will report through Human Resources and will have a broad impact on the employee experience.

We are excited to bring on board a talented individual who is eager to dive in and take ownership of this role to shape how the office functions and the experience of working in VIZIO’s Irvine Office.


What You Will Do

  • Support the Irvine site and coordinate with other office managers to maintain cohesiveness in an efficient, productive, and positively cultured office and employee experience.
  • Provide support and assist the receptionist with coverage and additional ad-hoc requests that they have received from employees.
  • Support events, meetings, and conferences by coordinating facilities and amenities.
  • Oversee the distribution of supplies, including food services, multiple times per month.
  • Work with the Office Manager to ensure office efficiency is maintained by planning and executing equipment procurement, layouts, and office systems.
  • Maintain a safe and secure working environment and be the point of contact for compliance or health and safety needs.
  • Support and execute two major company events; summer and holiday events; and other employee engagement activities throughout the year.
  • Ensure security, integrity, and confidentiality of data.
  • Provide general administrative support to leaders for ad hoc projects.
  • Act as a liaison between the company, staff, and office building management, providing information, answering questions, and responding to requests.

About You

  • 3+ years of proven office management, administrative or assistant experience
  • Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems, and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and general computer skills

For California-based employment: The minimum pay for this position is $29.81/hr. The maximum pay for this position is $37.50/hr. Compensation may vary inside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. This position is not eligible for additional benefits.
