Position Overview :
As a Shift Leader at Maü Miami, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that every guest's experience exceeds their expectations.
You will lead by example, embodying our commitment to culinary excellence, exceptional service, and attention to detail.
Your responsibilities will encompass both operational and customer-facing duties, as you strive to create a memorable dining experience for each patron.
Responsibilities :
Team Leadership : Lead and motivate a team of servers, hosts, and other front-of-house staff to deliver outstanding service consistently.
Provide guidance, support, and constructive feedback to foster a positive work environment.
Service Excellence : Ensure that all guests receive prompt, courteous, and personalized service throughout their dining experience.
Monitor service quality and address any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
Operations Management : Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and inventory management.
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food preparation and delivery.
- Guest Relations : Interact with guests to ensure their satisfaction and address any inquiries or special requests. Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy and professionalism, striving to resolve issues to their satisfaction.
- Training and Development : Conduct training sessions for new and existing staff to enhance their product knowledge, service skills, and overall performance.
Identify opportunities for skill development and career advancement within the team.
Safety and Compliance : Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications :
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role in the hospitality industry, preferably in a high-volume restaurant environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and staff at all levels.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency in restaurant POS systems and basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
