Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Facilities Maintenance Technician (2nd shift or 3rd shift) to perform a wide variety of general building and equipment maintenance, repairs, and services.

Wage : $18-$25 / hr + Shift Differential

Responsibilities

Completes maintenance projects during off shifts or shutdown periods when needed

  • Responsible for supporting facility status / inspections and alerting Leadership of unusual occurrences
  • Troubleshooting to include electrical, structural, plumbing and HVAC issues
  • Performs weekly facility maintenance and assist in monthly safety inspection
  • Responds to multiple maintenance requests from various departments

Skills / Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3 years experience with mechanical, plumbing, and electrical maintenance experience
  • Ability to maintain professional candor at all times and remain calm when faced with mounting pressure related to deadlines and multiple priorities
  • Ambition to be productive individually and as part of a team
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills to meet a variety of communication needs
