About Us

We are seeking Armenian Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) to support our USCIS contract. Armenian is a rare but essential language for asylum and immigration proceedings, requiring interpreters with cultural fluency and strict adherence to confidentiality.

Responsibilities

Provide real-time Armenian – English telephonic interpretation for USCIS interviews, hearings, and official proceedings.

Interpret with accuracy, neutrality, and professionalism in legal and immigration contexts.

Adhere to USCIS / DHS compliance standards and interpreter ethics.

Handle both scheduled requests and urgent / surge calls.

Participate in training, compliance refreshers, and quality assurance reviews.

Qualifications

Native or near-native fluency in Armenian and English.

2+ years of professional interpreting experience (immigration, legal, medical, or government strongly preferred).

Familiarity with interpreter ethics, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity.

Excellent communication skills; ability to stay accurate under pressure.

Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3 / Tier 5 clearance.
