Job Title : Field Service Technician – Imaging Equipment | Location : Charlotte, NC (Local Travel)
A leading regional healthcare system is seeking a Level II Imaging Equipment Technician to support diagnostic imaging equipment across multiple hospitals and urgent care sites in the greater Charlotte, NC area.
This is a full-time, day shift position that involves field service work within a 50-mile radius. You'll join a collaborative, well-supported service team responsible for repair, maintenance, and compliance of medical imaging equipment used in high-volume clinical environments.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine and emergency service on imaging equipment including X-ray, R&F, C-Arms, Portable X-ray, and Cath Lab systems
- Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate equipment to maintain safety, performance, and uptime
- Use service software to document maintenance activities, service reports, and compliance documentation
- Conduct part replacements (e.g., tubes, detectors, batteries) and ensure system alignment and accuracy
- Rotate between on-site service calls, field support, and time at local service hubs
- Collaborate with other field techs to balance workloads and maintain fleet-wide equipment uptime
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards, compliance protocols, and cGMP procedures
What We're Looking For
3–5+ years of experience servicing diagnostic imaging equipment in hospitals, health systems, or OEM field service rolesStrong working knowledge of systems from GE, Siemens, or Shimadzu (OEM training / certification is a strong plus)Familiarity with C-Arms, R&F suites, Portable X-ray, and Cath Lab equipment is highly preferredAbility to complete documentation in a CMMS or service platform (Nuvolo experience a plus)Commitment to safety, uptime, and clinical readiness in a healthcare environmentValid driver's license with no moving violations in the past 12 months (required)Willingness to travel within a local 50-mile radius; must be based near Charlotte, NCJ-18808-Ljbffr
