Billing Clerk (Part-time)

Studio in a School Association (Studio) is seeking a detailed-oriented, dedicated, and collaborative accounting professional to join our team as the Billing Clerk (Part-time). The Billing Clerk will provide support for Studio’s Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. This position offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of accounting operations while contributing to the growth and success of the organization.

The Billing Clerk is a part-time, non-exempt, non-union position and expected to work approximately seven hours per week. The Billing Clerk will report to the Associate Director of Payroll and Accounting.

The organization also collaborates with and develops the ability of those who provide or support arts programming and creative development for young people both in and outside of schools.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities :

Accounts Payable (AP) :

• Review and process all check requests and invoices; communicate with vendors as needed.
• Scan and file AP back-up as needed.
• Print and prepare all vendor checks for review and signatures.

Accounts Receivable (AR) - Contributed income :

Audit Preparation :

Other duties and ad-hoc projects assigned.
