Litigation Legal Assistant
Highly reputable and fast-paced law firm in downtown Oklahoma City is currently seeking a Legal Assistant to provide strong legal administrative support to their attorneys.
Salary : $46k-$70k depending on experience
Direct Hire, Full Benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), PTO, paid holidays, and paid parking.
Schedule : Monday-Friday 8 am -5 pm with some required overtime
Responsibilities :
Provide superior client service by answering and screening calls in a courteous and timely manner.
Manage attorney calendars and assist in meeting deadlines, coordinate attorney and / or client travel arrangements and collaborate with the client regarding same.
Prepare legal documents, memoranda, and correspondence from draft or dictated text. Create, edit, format, and proofread documents, spreadsheets and presentations with the highest level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Assist in the coordination of client billing using sophisticated software and procedures that may require client-specific instructions.
Qualifications :
Minimum of five (5) years related experience required at a law firm or legal corporate department required. Litigation experience highly desired.
Working knowledge of court rules (federal and state) including document preparation, electronic filing and processing.
Knowledge and experience in various software such as Microsoft Office, Adobe, Transcription Software, etc.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
