Responsibilities :
- Transferdata from paper formats into computer files or database systemsusing keyboards data recorders or opticalscanners
- Type indata provided directly fromcustomers
- Createspreadsheets with large numbers of figures withoutmistakes
- Verifydata by comparing it to sourcedocuments
- Updateexistingdata
- Retrieve datafrom the database or electronic files asrequested
- Performregular backups to ensure datapreservation
- Sortand organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is notlost
