We're looking for an experiencedFull-Stack Software Engineerto help us build innovative and secure data solutions for social media, search, and digital ads within a Big Data environment, design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications and microservices. You will play a key role in buildingscalable REST API microservices using Javaand craftingdynamic front-end applications with Angular. Additionally, experience inAI / ML technologiesis a plus and can help drive innovation in our solutions. What You'll Achieve

Build and maintain complex data solutions for high-volume applications, including new systems.

Build and enhanceresponsive front-end applicationswithAngular, TypeScript, and JavaScript.

Create reusable output and processes as you implement each solution.

Ensure test coverage in support of our continuous integration environment and to drive code quality.

Use agile and DevOps methodologies to help drive continuous improvement.

What is our technology stack? Java, Spring, Hibernate, Scala, Spark, Hadoop, Git, HBase, Unix, Docker, Maven, Ansible, Postgres and migration to AWS is expected down the road. Experience with all is not required, with required experience being detailed in sections below.

Who You Are

What you'll bring with you :

B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similarly related field.

Strong development practices with prior experience writing and testing code.

5+ years of experiencedeveloping backend services usingJava, Spring Boot, and REST APIs. Strong understanding ofmicroservices architectureand best practices.

Experience working withSQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).

Proficiency inAngular framework, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).

Hands-on experience withHTML, CSS, and front-end performance optimization.

Hands on experience working in a Unix environment is a must, including writing Unix Shell Scripts.

Professional exposure with Spring framework, Hibernate, Maven and Git is required.

Experience with SQL and relational database environments is required.

Owns a problem to the end, but also proud to share in team's success.

Able to do your best work in a team setting and autonomously

Why you might stand out from other talent :

Experience withAI / ML frameworks is a plus

Experience with Hadoop, Spark, and Scala is a plus.

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.

Experience with AWS is a plus

Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines is a plus

Knowledge of software engineering best practices across the development lifecycle, including agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, testing, and operations is a plus.
