A Xerox Company, is seeking a Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate who will be responsible for loading, securing, delivering and basic set up of equipment, while providing excellent customer service as well as will be responsible for a wide variety of warehouse activities relating to the receipt, inspection, storage, picking, distribution and basic set up of office equipment, supplies and various goods.
This is a full-time opportunity delivering equipment throughout an assigned area.What You’ll Do : Operate an automatic box truck in a safe and timely manner, including daily inspection of the vehicleAbide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving recordLoad, deliver, install and collect equipment at various customer locationsProvide excellent customer serviceProvide basic customer training on copiers, printers and other office technology equipmentPerform general technical duties such as connecting equipment to networksAssist in receiving and shipping of Xerox products, equipment and various goodsLoad and unload vehiclesPrepare equipment for shipment and deliveryCheck all orders for accuracyMaintain a clean and organized warehouseOperate forklift and other warehouse equipmentAssist with inventory as neededWhat You Need to Succeed : Valid Driver’s License with a relatively clean driving recordOne (1) or more years of experience driving a 16’ 26’ box delivery truck preferred1-2 years of warehouse experience is preferredBasic mechanical understanding preferredExperience using smartphone, tablet and / or laptopExperience using Microsoft applications and the InternetAble to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesExcellent communication and organizational skillsExcellent communication, customer service and organizational skillsExperience operating a forklift is preferredPhysical Requirements : Must be at least 18 years oldAbility to stand for 8+ hours and regularly lift 50-75 poundsAble to safely maneuver oversized and overweight equipmentMust be able to work in a warehouse environment that may not be climate-controlledHow We Set You Up for Success : Hands-on training of Xerox equipment and all aspects of the delivery driver role and responsibilitiesHands-on training of Xerox equipment and all aspects of warehouse safety and responsibilitiesJob shadowing to thoroughly prepare you to make deliveries and perform installations independentlyOngoing career development trainingWhat We Offer : Competitive compensation (hourly compensation and applicable overtime)Comprehensive benefits offerings (including medical, dental, vision, life insurance)Retirement Plan 401kPaid holidays, personal choice days, and paid time offA culture that offers flexibility and a healthy work life balance*May be required to complete an annual DOT physical and drug screen if operating a vehicle weighing over 10,000 lbs.
