We are looking for an HR Coordinator to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in managing and supporting human resources operations, ensuring smooth onboarding processes, and fostering employee engagement. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about HR compliance and administration.
Responsibilities :
- Facilitate onboarding processes, including conducting background checks and coordinating new employee orientations.
- Manage HR administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Utilize HRIS systems to maintain accurate employee records and streamline HR operations.
- Conduct applicant screening to support the recruitment process and identify candidates with relevant experience.
- Organize and deliver employee engagement initiatives to enhance workplace morale and satisfaction.
- Ensure adherence to HR compliance standards and maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws.
- Provide support to employees by addressing HR-related inquiries and resolving issues.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement HR best practices.
The salary range for this position is $19 / hr. to $20 / hr. Benefits available to contract / temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance. Proven experience in HR coordination, administration, or a related role.Strong knowledge of onboarding processes, including background checks and new employee orientations.Familiarity with HRIS systems and their applications in maintaining employee records.Understanding of HR compliance standards and employment regulations.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Demonstrated ability to foster positive employee relations and engagement.Proficiency in applicant screening and recruitment support.
