Overview
Responsible for supporting tour and event personnel as requested.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $13.00 to $15.00
PT roles : Benefits 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.

About the Venue
The mission of the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts is to enrich the lives of residents and guests by providing great and diverse performances, experiences, and educational programs for the arts.
In doing so, the Sandler Center will serve as a home for regional and community arts organizations that contribute to the arts and culture of Virginia Beach.
Responsibilities
- Act as the daily runner, event assistant for the tour.
- Shop for various items as requested by the tour manager or other tour personnel.
- Pick up and deliver tour personnel and equipment as instructed by the tour manager or other tour personnel.
- Provide client with cost estimates for purchases.
- Pick up / return rental vehicles.
- Refill rental vehicles with gas.
- Settle receipts with tour prior to the end of the shift / show
- Pre-shop for catering or other needs as directed.
- Other duties may be assigned.

- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills required.
- Detailed oriented
- Money handling skills
- Ability to work long extensive hours based on tour manager / tour personnel requirements.
- Ability to operate effectively in a multiple-demand environment is essential.
- Strong customer service is essential.
- Knowledge of the immediate Jacksonville area
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to work a flexible , weekends, and / or holidays are a required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous work in back of house event support experience preferred.
