Description

We’re looking for a creative and social media-savvy freelancer to help bring our podcast content to life on social media. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys curating and creating engaging content around conversations, interviews, and topics discussed in podcasts. You’ll also capture behind-the-scenes moments, collaborate closely with our hosts, and help bring the podcast’s personality to audiences in fun and engaging ways.

The ideal candidate is a sharp storyteller with a strong sense of what resonates on social platforms. You’ll identify highlights, create shareable content, and engage audiences in ways that expand the reach and impact of our podcast. This role also involves collaborating across departments, including video, web, and editorial, to ensure social content supports all areas of the brand.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day social media content for the podcast, including clips, graphics, and interactive posts on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
• Listen to episodes to identify the most engaging moments for social media
• Collaborate with podcast hosts and producers to create compelling content that amplifies the show
• Develop creative strategies to engage audiences on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
• Oversee community engagement by responding to comments and messages in an on-brand voice
• Brainstorm new formats and approaches for audience interaction and growth
• Collaborate with all departments—including video, web, and editorial—to share content across platforms and support broader initiatives

Compensation

The expected hourly rate for this role is $30 an hour, and a commitment of up to 18 hours per week.
