We are a clinic that focuses on primary care, serving canines and felines. We are looking for dedicated animal-loving people to join our team here at ABC Animal Hospital.
We have a great team here and need a few more staff members to help solidify our core staffing. We are specifically looking for 2 experienced technicians to add to our work family.

Our mission is to deliver outstanding health care to our furry patients and stellar customer service to their pet parents.
We can offer our clients surgery (both general and specialty), radiology, ultrasonography, and general care. We are in an expansionary phase and are seeking motivated self-starters with excellent clinical and customer service skills.
Responsibilities and Duties :
- Triaging patients and taking their vitals, and acquiring patient history and other information from clients.
- Assisting with diagnostic procedures such as lab work, radiographs, ultrasounds, and echocardiograms.
- Discussing treatment plans and estimates, and payment options with clients.
- Acquire cephalic, saphenous, and jugular blood samples.
- Inserting IV catheters, endotracheal tubes, monitoring anesthesia, ventilators, and fluid therapy.
- Perform dental prophylaxis on canines and felines along with the ability to perform proper diagnostic dental radiographs.
- Operating autoclaves and proper surgical sterilization techniques.
- Processing specimens in the in-house laboratory and submitting specimens to outside laboratories.
- Calculating medication dosages and providing dosage instructions for clients.
- Entering patients' service charges into the computer database and keeping accurate patient records.
- Explaining patient instructions to clients and sharing educational materials.
- Assist in supervising and training other team members.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Veterinary Technology Certification is preferred but not required
- 1+ Years experience working in a veterinary setting
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- The ability to multi-task and stay focused in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence and ability to restrain and interact with pets of all sizes

Pay : $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations :
All clients are required to wait outside during the exam. All staff is required to wear a mask over their nose and mouth at all times during their shift, with no exceptions.
All staff is encouraged to be fully vaccinated.
Education :
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience :
Veterinary setting : 1 year (Preferred)
