Global Benefits Operations Leader
This role will lead the Global Benefits Operations function within the Global Benefits Team. You will support our Global Benefits Team in providing world-class benefits experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth company, and a constantly changing environment. This role is based out of our headquarters in San Francisco; however, they will be required to partner with team members and stakeholders globally distributed across our regional offices in Asia, LATAM, and Europe.
What You'll Do
- Oversee the Global Benefits Central Operations team
- Lead strategy and execution for benefits related to central operations, technology and systems, financials, and global perk programs, ensuring the overall delivery of benefits around the world to nearly 30,000 employees
- Lead operational thought leadership internally, collaborating with strategic stakeholder partners like the US and international benefits teams, people operations, payroll, legal, finance, accounting, tax, internal communications, and people tech
- Translate and execute on benefits strategy into benefits operations, understanding business needs, operationalizing processes, solutioning fixes, and / or implementing technology
- Oversee the PO set up and payment of vendors
- Play a central role in the annual budgeting process
Basic Qualifications
7+ years of benefits experience in operations, HRIS, consulting, or related work. International benefits or HR experience preferredDemonstrated operational excellence in prior roles with the ability to scale and solution business processesPeople management experiencePrioritization experience supporting multiple workstreams and processes in high-growth environmentsForward-thinking, detail-oriented, customer service oriented, and strong collaborator. Ideally this individual would have a high level of integrity and is personablePreferred Qualifications
Oversee projects and vendor integrations with enterprise technology solutions and HR systems, e.g., Workday, Oracle, benefits enrollment systems, etc. Darwin knowledge and familiarity is preferredSupport benefits delivery and compliance around the world to a rapidly growing, broad, and diverse employee population located in 70+ countriesOversee and develop benefits-related financials, e.g., benefit proposals, annual budgeting in the international arena, headcount planning, benefit ROI analyses, etc.Develop and foster relationships with key business partners, understanding operational impacts up / down streamLead design and program management for global benefit perk programsFor San Francisco, CA-based roles : The base salary range for this role is USD$182,000 per year - USD$202,000 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
