Event Marketing Specialist

Were seeking a highly organized and proactive Event Marketing Specialist who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments. This role focuses on planning, executing, and optimizing Zillizs event marketing initiatives across global marketsincluding North America and Europe. Youll play a key role in managing both large-scale technology events (e.g., AWS re : Invent, tech conferences) and smaller community-driven meetups to strengthen Zillizs global brand presence and engagement.
What you'll do
- Research and identify high-impact technology events globally (with a focus on North America and Europe) for sponsorship, speaking opportunities, and partnerships
- Plan, coordinate, and execute event marketing programs, including large-scale conferences, trade shows, and small community events
- Manage event logistics from pre-event planning to post-event follow-up, ensuring seamless coordination with vendors, partners, and internal teams
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to develop event messaging, materials, and engagement strategies
- Lead event operations and on-site execution to ensure high-quality brand representation and attendee experience
- Track, analyze, and report on event performance metrics to measure ROI and inform future strategy
- Manage event-related budgets, timelines, and deliverables to ensure efficient execution
- Support virtual event initiatives and webinars as needed to reach broader audiences
Why we're looking for
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field24 years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or experiential marketingpreferably in the technology or B2B SaaS sectorStrong project management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detailDemonstrated experience managing end-to-end event processes (planning, logistics, execution, and reporting)Familiarity with global event sponsorship and partnership processesExcellent communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally and externally with partnersProficiency with marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Eventbrite, Asana, Google Workspace) and understanding of event analyticsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment with a proactive and problem-solving mindsetFlexibility to travel domestically and internationally for events as requiredBenefits
