You Will Be :
The SVP, Brand Partnerships & Buying Leader will play a critical leadership role in setting the overall merchandise strategy across designated divisions / categories. This leader is responsible for aligning long-term goals with corporate strategy, driving brand partner and vendor negotiations, and ensuring cohesion between strategic planning, product assortment, and execution.
In this leadership role, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define and execute roadmaps that not only meet financial targets but also elevate the business to new heights. Your ability to navigate complex relationships with brand partners, vendors, and internal teams will be crucial as you lead with innovation, influence, and a relentless drive for excellence. Your leadership will directly impact the company's growth, shaping a future where strategy and execution align to create lasting success.
What You Will Do :
- Set and lead the merchandise strategy for the broader division / category, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and overarching priorities
- Work closely with senior leadership to ensure the strategy addresses key business drivers and supports growth targets
- Lead top-to-top meetings and vendor negotiations, with support from the Head of for select brands
- Manage complex contract and terms & conditions negotiations for product conversions in partnership with Planning teams, driving favorable agreements that support business objectives
- Drive cohesion between strategy, product assortment, and execution both pre-season and in-season
- Ensure that the product pipeline is aligned with strategic goals, and monitor the seamless execution of the merchandise plan
- Develop long-term division / category goals that span multiple seasons or years, setting the vision for future growth while balancing short-term objectives with long-term strategic direction
- Collaborate with the Head Of to determine business priorities and trade-offs that best align with corporate strategy, financial targets, and market opportunities
- Co-lead discussions with the Head of and Buying & Planning Leadership to define and execute the pre-season and in-season roadmap, ensuring that the division / category delivers on financial goals while optimizing product offerings and inventory
- Lead high-level negotiations for in store real estate, leases, and capital expenditure (CapEx) projects, driving optimal value for the organization while ensuring alignment with long-term strategic goals and financial objectives
- Resolve pricing, promotional, and markdown conflicts across the category strategy, ensuring consistency and alignment with broader company objectives while maintaining profitability and margin targets
What You Will Bring :
