Sodexo is seeking an experienced Food Operations Manager 3 at T he University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, a 750-bed hospital renowned for its researchlocated in Dallas, TX .
The Food Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing retail operations, managing food costs / budgets, conducting new employee trainings, and driving employee engagement while maintaining the highest level of patient and guest satisfaction.
Prior retail management experience managing a high-volume is preferred.
The successful candidate will :
- evaluate and develop service levels for the overall Patient Services Program targeted to exceed patient and customer satisfaction;
- coordinate department safety and sanitation
- ensure operating standards meet and exceed benchmarks
- engage with employees and promote an inclusive culture
- rounding with patients and nurses to promote and improve patient satisfaction
We are looking for candidates who have :
- management experience in the food service industry
- experience leading a team in a kitchen environment and enforcing safety & sanitation protocols
- natural ability to lead and build teams and foster engagement
- demonstrate working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems as well as menu graphics programs.

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
