Staff Accountant Join a Legacy of Excellence As an integral member of the Ackerman team, our Staff Accountant performs a wide array of responsibilities, including reporting, analysis, data reconciliation, and working with auditors.

Must be highly motivated and able to problem-solve utilizing technology to optimize operations.  Excellent opportunity for growth with significant exposure to Senior Leadership.  This role pays up to $75k and is bonus-eligible based on experience level of the candidate.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, a willingness to learn and roll up their sleeves, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality.

Primary Responsibilities Assists with the month-end closing and reporting process.

Assists in preparing the monthly financial reporting and analysis package.

Prepares and records journal entries, including the month-end closing process entries.

Prepares monthly account reconciliations in support of the financial statements.

Prepares and maintains weekly cash flow forecast.

Performs variance analyses.

Assists the VP of Finance / Controller in the annual financial audit with external auditors.

Performs ad-hoc reporting and special projects as required.

Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures .

Travel Requirements This position does not require travel.

Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, plus 2+ years of accounting experience, OR The equivalent combination of education and experience.
