Texas Tissue Converting is seeking a skilled Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician to join our maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role specializes in electrical and instrumentation maintenance for paper converting and packaging machinery. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, experience with PLCs and VFDs, and a proactive approach to equipment reliability and continuous improvement.

As an E & I Technician - in manufacturing you will :
- Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance on motors, drives, sensors, and control systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation issues to minimize downtime.
- Install and calibrate equipment including wiring, sensors, valves, and transmitters.
- Maintain accurate records using CMMS.
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams on projects and line troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with SHEQ standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to equipment modifications.
Qualifications :
High School Diploma required; technical certifications or degree in Electrical / Instrumentation preferred.5–10 years of proven experience in a manufacturing or production setting.Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and instrumentation systems.Experience with Allen-Bradley and Siemens platforms.Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Packaging, Palletizing, and conveyor system experience, a plus.Job Posted by ApplicantPro
