Position : School Psychologist
Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral development.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions tailored to students' needs.
- Provide counseling and therapeutic services to students, addressing emotional, behavioral, and social challenges.
- Monitor students' progress and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions through data analysis and ongoing assessments.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing to the development of educational plans and providing recommendations for student support.
Qualifications :
- Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid Connecticutstate certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in a school or educational setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education regulations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and a multidisciplinary team.
