Cost Accounting Manager

A privately held, multi-billion-dollar industrial distributor / manufacturer is looking to hire a Cost Accounting Manager to lead financial efforts tied to inventory, costing, and operational performance. Job Description

• Oversee all aspects of cost accounting, including variance analysis, inventory costing, and margin analysis.
• Evaluate current costing processes and systems and implement improvements as needed.
• Serve as a key business partner to operations, logistics, and supply chain teams.
• Support month-end activities, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Leverage SAP S / 4HANA to ensure accuracy of inventory and cost data.
• Provide insights on standard vs. actual costing models and recommend structural changes.
