Location : Irvine, CA

Salary : $60,000 - $65,000 annually

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant for a direct hire opportunity in Irvine. This role is ideal for candidates with 1-3 years of accounting experience and strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas).

Key Responsibilities :

Participate in the month-end close process, including general ledger reconciliation and analysis

Reconcile and analyze balance sheet and P&L accounts

Research and analyze changes in GL account balances and review monthly / year-end results for management reporting

Prepare and post monthly journal entries in Great Plains

Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports for the company and its divisions

Create schedules, analyses, and reconciliations, including financial spreadsheets with pivot tables

Assist with year-end financial statement audit and periodic bank audits

Help with accounting for prepaid and accrued expenses

Support fixed asset accounting

Qualifications :

BA / BS in Accounting or Finance required

1-3 years of accounting experience

Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas)
