THE ROLE :

We are in search of an experienced program manager with strong analytical, problem-solving and risk management skills. Ability to work efficiently and manage effective relationships in a cross-functional organization to meet commitments for successful customer program launches. Must be self-directed and work in complex and dynamic ecosystems.

THE PERSON :

As a Program Manager you will partner with our cross functional teams to manage customer accounts and their portfolio, understand our customers platforms / solutions. Identify and document customer requirements and establish engineering schedules. Drive AMD product solution deliverables and alignment with customers' platforms to ensure highest level customer satisfaction throughout their product lifecycle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Responsible for leading program level BIOS deliverables and related dependencies, ensuring firmware commitment delivery on schedule from emulation through end of life with various engineering and supporting functions
• Responsibilities include defining and leading key product deliverables / schedules and driving cross functional activities to achieve high quality deliverables to internal teams as well as customers.

Responsible for program leadership and reports out regularly to executives on status, decisions, and solutions to issues during execution

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE :

Technical / Program Management experience in a dynamic and competitive industry, particularly within Software Development or Engineering based organizations.

The candidate should be a proven leader, be able to create and maintain a working cross functional team and be skilled managing in a matrixed environment. A successful candidate must have exceptional communications skills. In addition, the role requires outstanding people management skills to lead, motivate, and guide world class engineers

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS :

Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is desired
