Summit Technology Group is a full-service IT solutions provider with deep expertise in assisting Banks and Credit Unions navigate the ever-changing regulatory and technology landscapes.

Discover more about this exciting opportunity and take the first step towards a fulfilling career in technical sales. This role requires travel in the Northeast region (New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine) to meet client needs.

However, with the leverage of video conferencing technologies, client interactions may be conducted virtually. This balance of in-person and digital connectivity is required to optimize productivity and maintain the highest standards of professional engagement.

Key Responsibilities : Achieve sales objectives primarily through selling to new customers and additional services to existing customers.

Discover client business needs and propose appropriate products and services. Manage territory, including account planning and opportunity management.

Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge about Summit’s products and services. Excellent service is required to ensure assigned accounts meet or exceed client expectations.

Properly forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue numbers for assigned territory. Work with key partners to drive product revenue.

Successfully negotiate contracts. Provide feedback from field experience to sales management with regards to product, selling, competitive matters.

etc. Build and maintain trusted relationships with associates and customers. Effectively transfer thoughts and express ideas using speech and listening skills to influence others and gain support.

Competitive, high achiever who persists despite obstacles, opposition or setbacks. Additional Desired Skills : Knowledge and strong working relationship with at least one of STG’s strategic partners : Cisco, VMware, EMC, Microsoft, AWS, Cisco or Arista or similar partner certification preferred.

Financial Vertical Experience is a plus Education and Experience : 1-2 years of information technology sales required, preferred.

1-2 Experience working within the technology infrastructure Value Added Reseller (VAR) space directly, or as a vendor partnering with the channel, preferred.
