We are looking for a Communications Consultant who has at least 3 years of strategic communications experience under their belt and is looking for their next opportunity in an exciting consultancy with a technology-centric client base.
Base pay range : $95,000.00 / yr - $115,000.00 / yr

Responsibilities of the Consultant Role
drawing on deep knowledge of channels and audiences to identify how best to position clients and tell their story
Working with client team leads to set strategy and priorities for client workCreating integrated communications plans to guide the execution of the agreed strategyApplying an understanding of how to deliver client objectives using strategies and tactics to reach target audiences on appropriate channelsDesigning and interrogating client asks and designing research briefs to ensure that all advice is underpinned by insightTailoring the style and content of advice to meet the needs and expectations of individual clientsConfidently and transparently discussing AI-enhanced work with clients and explaining value-added outcomesGoing above and beyond the brief to suggest the most creative solutionsAdvisingearning the trust of a variety of clients and providing recommendations that are understood and accepted
Advising in a variety of formats (written or verbal) and choosing the most effective format for the client, at the right timeProducing compelling written content and driving the execution of significant communications moments for clients (e.g. media briefings, speeches, owned channels and events)Using AI for complex deliverables, applying advanced prompting techniquesReading a wide breadth of industry and client news to understand issues clients are facing to inform our adviceDrawing on a deep knowledge of audiences and channels to identify how best to position clients and achieve their communications goalsUsing research tools and platforms including Factiva, Meltwater, Claude and Gemini to conduct insight generationPeople Managementsupporting the wellbeing of the team and encouraging everyone to perform, learn and develop
Developing project plans for client teams and ensuring work is delivered in a timely and high quality mannerManaging the work of junior colleagues, and supporting their professional development through coaching and mentoringEncouraging continuous learning and development, including delegation of tasks and constructive feedbackContributing to the businessapplying knowledge of how the firm and clients generate revenue to improve the quality of our advice and analysis

Excellent command of written and verbal EnglishAt least 3 years of corporate communications experience – either / or consultancy or in-house roles – ideally with exposure to the technology industryStrategic approach to assessing corporate reputation challenges and opportunitiesUnderstanding of different audiences and channels that make up the communications landscapeExperience building advisory relationships with stakeholders to deliver strategic counsel and insightExperience developing media strategies and interacting with journalistsExperience of project management, including planning and delivering work against goals, timetable and budgetExperience managing a team and delegating tasksIntellectual curiosity to develop subject matter expertise and share with colleaguesA highly motivated team member who values collaborationA desire to seek out feedback to learn and developCommitment to contributing to a supportive and inclusive cultureDesirable Skills and Experience
