The Opportunity

This position works out of our Alameda, CA location in the Diabetes Care division where were focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life?changing products that provide accurate data to drive better?informed decisions. Were revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.

The Associate Human Factors Engineer plays a key role in supporting human factors and usability initiatives for medium?sized medical device and software projects, with close supervision. They contribute to larger programs by independently completing detailed tasks and reporting progress on usability?related activities. This role involves collaborating with cross?functional teams to identify risks and resolve issues, while keeping program leadership informed. The engineer stays current with advancements in usability improvements and provides input where applicable. They exercise independent judgment in planning, organizing, and executing work, while regularly monitoring performance and updating their manager on status.
