Summary
This colleague independently performs a variety of assignments related to Energy Assessment, Energy Conservation, Facility Optimization, and Commissioning / Validation projects. While having independent responsibility for all or portions of projects, this position fosters a collaborative approach to all activities and works effectively with other practice colleagues.
Qualifications
This position normally requires a 4-year engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program and a working knowledge of various computer software packages and automated engineering and design equipment. This position requires 6 - 9 years of prior relevant experience in energy engineering in the Built Environment. Equivalent working knowledge / prior experience as a Co-op or Intern or advanced degree may be considered in lieu of a 4-year engineering degree. The incumbent in this position has achieved Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Certification and either achieved or is in the process of gaining a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) accreditation. This position should have achieved or is working toward an appropriate Commissioning Certification, as coordinated with the Practice Operations Manager.
