ROLE : Technology Consultant - Automation
POSITION SUMMARY :
As a Technology Consultant, you will lead the implementation and customization of the RULER configurator for manufacturing clients, focusing on advanced automation of engineering and quoting workflows. You'll be a technical expert and trusted advisor, driving innovation and delivering impactful solutions.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Architect and develop custom Ruler Customizations and Autodesk Inventor workflowsto automate complex engineering models and drawings.
- Extend and enhance the RULER framework using C# , .NET , and related technologies.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their unique needs and translate them into scalable automation solutions.
- Work within Visual Studio , manage codebases using Git , and contribute to a high-quality development lifecycle.
- Integrate with CAD / CAM platforms, primarily Autodesk Inventor , to streamline engineering workflows.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS :
Advanced experience with Autodesk Inventor , including iLogic and Inventor API OR Experience in C# , .NET , HTML5 , JavaScript and Visual Studio .Proven track record of developing Inventor add-ins and automating CAD models and drawings.Experience with Git for version control and collaborative development.Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering automation.PREFERRED SKILLS :
Experience with CPQ or ETOFamiliarity with other programming languages or automation frameworks.Background in industrial engineering, systems integration, or product configuration.Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or equivalent experienceEMPLOYEE BENEFITS :
