The Senior Marketing Manager, Technology is a high-impact, high-visibility role for someone who's equal parts strategist, technologist, and storyteller. You'll shape and execute our vision for how Martech fuels brand reach, consumer connection, and digital excellence.
This role goes way beyond platform management. You'll be the architect of our Martech roadmap, unlocking the power of automation, AI, and personalization to deliver unforgettable consumer experiences and drive brand growth. You'll collaborate across teams (Brand, CRM, Paid Media, DTC, IT, Consumer Insights, and more), champion a culture of experimentation, and bring bold ideas to life.

Here's a Day in the Life :
- Lead the vision and strategy for Tillamook's marketing technology ecosystem, aligning martech innovation with high-level brand goals and business objectives.
- Act as a strategic connector across channels including Paid Media, mobile app, Loyalty & CRM, Direct Commerce, Brand Design, Analytics, Legal and ITensuring martech platforms and tools are integrated, optimized, aligned with martech strategic direction and legal guidelines to deliver a seamless consumer journey and unified data view.
- Lead internal education and enablement efforts to build Martech fluency across brand and marketing teams. Develop training materials, host workshops, and serve as a go-to resource for Martech best practices.
- Champion innovation and continuous improvement, identifying, testing, piloting, and scaling emerging technologies (AI, automation, personalization tools) that grow first-party data, deepen consumer engagement, and drive loyalty and repeat business.
- Embed martech into brand and campaign planning and execution, partnering with internal teams and external agencies to ensure tools are leveraged effectively across acquisition, retention, and engagement efforts. Lead enablement efforts to help teams understand martech capabilities and unlock new opportunities.
- Platform Ownership & Optimization : Own key Martech platforms (e.g., CDP, CRM, CMS, marketing automation) and ensure they are configured to support campaign execution, ecommerce, measurement, and personalization. Ensure platforms are continuously evaluated and optimized for performance, scalability, and alignment with evolving business needs.
- Manage martech agency relationships and contracts, driving cross-agency integration and collaboration to maximize efficiency, effectiveness, and strategic alignment.
- Develop and implement a framework for interactive testing and measurement, using analytics and consumer insights to uncover trends, optimize performance, and inform future strategy. Share learnings across teams to drive smarter decision-making and stronger consumer outcomes.
- Collaborate with Consumer Insights and external partners to conduct audience research, translating insights into actionable martech strategies that support brand growth and consumer connection.
- Stay ahead of the curve on data governance, privacy regulations, and emerging technologies. Represent Tillamook in vendor discussions, industry forums, and thought leadership opportunities to bring bold ideas and best practices into the organization.
- Data Stewardship : Partner with IT and Channel Leaders to ensure data quality, accessibility, and usability for marketing purposes, while maintaining compliance with privacy regulations.
- Documentation & Governance : Establish and maintain clear documentation for Martech processes, standards, and governance protocols to ensure consistency, compliance, and scalability.
- Oversee Martech budget planning and resource allocation in partnership with cross-functional leaders.
- Lead vendor relationships, including contract negotiation, performance evaluation, and strategic alignment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
EDUCATION : Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferredEXPERIENCE : 7+ years of experience in marketing technology, digital strategy, or data-driven marketing rolesProven track record of leading Martech initiatives across Paid Media, CRM, and brand teamsExperience leading Martech transformation initiatives and driving adoption across cross-functional teamsExperience in consumer-packaged goods (CPG), retail, or direct-to-consumer brands is a plusTechnical Proficiency :
Deep understanding of Martech platforms : Data Warehouse, CDPs, CRM systems, CMS, analytics tools, ad tech, and automation platforms. Experience with Klayvio, Microsoft Fabric, Google Analytics, Contentful, Shopify and Toast a plus.Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and consent managementAbility to translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa.Strategic Thinking :
