What We're Looking For :

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications :

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school with an active RN license in MN.
  • Preferably, at least two (2) years of experience as a hospice RN and one (1) year in a supervisory role.
  • Willingness to travel within the service area; valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance are required.
  • Current CPR Certification.

    • Your Key Responsibilities :

    As the Hospice Director, you will :

  • Plan, assign, and monitor the work of hospice staff.
  • Hire, supervise, evaluate, and develop both professional and paraprofessional employees.
  • Oversee staff scheduling for maximum productivity.
  • Lead Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) meetings and participate in facility and team meetings.
  • Contribute to business growth by providing education and support to external customers.
  • Manage hospice caseload as needed.
  • Provide educational opportunities and in-services to meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
