Job Title : Patient Education Videographer

Scope of Position
The videographer for cancer support services will be responsible for virtual / live-stream programming, digital content and the video development needs of 1) Patient Education Department;
2) JamesCare for Life; and 3) Performing Arts programming on Channel 2.This individual must be fluent in social media and digital technology, have proven experience with video and multimedia production, and mindful of current industry trends.
This individual will collaborate with various departments within the organization to develop creative assets that can be leveraged on enterprise accounts for the delivery of patient education and patient support programming.
This individual must possess leadership skills, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, collaborative abilities, and the capacity to work independently.
Must adhere to and understand all required regulations and standards necessary to operate within a hospital setting.
Position Summary
The videographer is responsible for the development and execution of digital, virtual, and video projects to enhance patient learning, patient engagement and facilitate the supportive care programming goals for the Patient Education Department, JamesCare for Life, and the Performing Arts Program.
Experience with video production, editing and processing videos for publishing and use of video production equipment and knowledge of digital accessibility standards is required.
This position requires strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects with changing priorities.
This individual must have the capacity to work in a collaborative matrix organization and ensure quality control throughout project life cycle.
This position requires experience with external communications and effective understanding of content marketing and reputation management.
Must have appropriate level of technical knowledge, understanding of adult learning principles, experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, and understanding of social media analytics to develop insights and optimize user engagement of multimedia assets tailored to social media.
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree required, 3-5 years professional experience in media arenas required. Previous experience with video production, including filming editing, processing videos for publishing, and use of video production equipment is required.
Must have appropriate technical knowledge, demonstrated skills in project management, knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and understanding of social media analytics.
Progressive experience in leadership and collaborative work with multi-disciplines in a health care setting, desired. Knowledge of adult learning principles, plain language writing, and health literacy is helpful.
