Accounts Receivable Clerk

Location : Detroit, MI

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Wage : $22 / hour

About the Role

We are hiring for an Accounts Receivable position within our Sea Logistics operations. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, organized, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced team. No prior finance or billing experience is required-just a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

Process and monitor invoicing tasks to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Support the resolution of outstanding accounts and billing issues.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.

Assist in maintaining records and documentation related to accounts receivable.

Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce delays.

Qualifications

Some college education preferred.

Experience in logistics, transportation, or customer service is helpful but not required.

Comfortable using Microsoft 365 and learning new systems.

Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

Frequent sitting, walking, and handling / fingering.

Occasional standing, bending, squatting / kneeling, and reaching.

Ability to lift / carry and push / pull up to 50 pounds

Pay Details : $22.00 per hour
