Contract Specialist, Senior

Key Role :

Analyze the development of a contracts acquisition plan, define requirements for solicitation, review the development of draft documentation supporting solicitations, and provide oversight for the surveillance of contracts.

Monitor awarded vendors performance for conformance to contract terms and conditions. Serve as primary point of contact for customers.

Act as a supporting advisor to the contracts management SME by leveraging expert knowledge of acquisition policies and regulations.

Provide work leadership to junior employees, as needed.

Basic Qualifications :

2+ years of experience working in the IC

Experience with the procurement life cycle, from source selection activities through closeout

Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)

TS / SCI clearance with a polygraph

Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience with contracts or subcontracts in the industry or working as a contracting officer in the federal government, or 9+ years of experience with contracts or subcontracts in the industry or working as a contracting officer in the federal government in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications :

Experience preparing and administering R&D contracts

Experience with the evaluation of technical and cost proposals, and techniques of cost analysis

Experience with broad agency announcements and the formation and administration of different government contract types

Knowledge of grants, other transactions, and cooperative agreements

Ability to be self-directed and work under minimal supervision

Ability to deal effectively with personnel at all levels

Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Clearance :

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;

TS / SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
