Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Remote Data Architect (PST hours preferred). In this role you will design and model data for student success reporting in Looker. This role involves working with Banner (Student Information System) and Canvas (Learning Management System) datasets to create a structure that supports campus-wide reporting and analytics. You will also assist in migrating existing reports from Cognos to Looker. You will understand what data exists in Banner and Canvas, Decide how to organize it for reporting in looker, and make sure old Cognos reports can be migrated to Looker.

Skills and Requirements
5+ years experience as a Data Architect
Strong experience in data modeling and data architecture.
Familiarity with Banner and Canvas datasets (or similar higher education systems).
Hands-on experience with Looker (LookML, Explores, dashboards).
Understanding of reporting migration from legacy tools (e.g., Cognos).
Knowledge of SQL and relational database design.
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
