Operations Engineer
As an Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of technical systems, including developing and implementing engineering data governance standards and processes to support the successful life cycle management of products.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to establish standards for product data management, configuration management, and change control. Responsibilities :
- Design and maintain technical infrastructure and systems to implement product data governance standards and processes to support product commercialization.
- Monitor the performance of technical systems and processes to identify areas for improvement as well as troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and problems as they arise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain, to establish standards for product data management, configuration management, and change control.
- Define and document product configuration rules and constraints to support product design and development.
- Develop and implement tools and processes to manage product data throughout the product lifecycle.
- Provide technical support and guidance to cross-functional teams and end-users.
- Conduct training and education programs for team members on product data standards and processes.
- Continuously monitor and improve standards and processes to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide input on product design for management of product data.
- Participate in projects related to system upgrades, migrations, and implementations.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product data management, configuration management, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of engineering data governance and product configuration management tools and processes.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as Netsuite, SAP, or Oracle.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
