Business Manager 340B
The Business Manager 340B is responsible for managing the daily operations and analysis of the 340B program and all its components including compliance monitoring, oversight of routine audits, maintaining policies and procedures and 340B contract review / negotiations. Consistently communicates and reports project status, tracks projects against metrics, updates project plans to reflect actual progress, and escalates encountered situations to the appropriate area with detailed and accurate information.
Responsibilities
Evaluates audit data and incorporates financial analysis performed by 340B Program Analyst to ensure compliance with 340B program legal guidelines and cost saving opportunities are maximized.
Provides monthly financial analysis and audit results to Jackson Health System Pharmacy Department Directors.
Works closely with Jackson Health-System's split-billing providers to resolve NDC mismatch issues and help hospitals resolve.
Monitor splitting software reports and update data as needed to ensure proper NDC matches are occurring.
Pulls Apexus reports and compare to our purchase information to ensure optimization of program.
Serve as a project leader for the 340B program related functions and initiatives.
Escalates improvement opportunities identified through 340B audits to pharmacy leadership and implements the resolutions.
Maintains a working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing pharmacy and especially the 340B HRSA program.
Follows all State and Federal guidelines on pharmaceutical guidelines and procedures.
Provides education and support to facility buyers and medical staff offices pertaining to the 340B program, and Jackson Health System policy and procedures related to inventory management and 340B procedures.
Ensures that policies and procedures for 340B program are developed, maintained and implemented according to organizational, regional, national, state, and federal requirements and guidelines and are approved by the institutions legal department.
Performs all other related job duties as assigned.
Generally requires 5 to 7 years of related experience.
Bachelor's degree in related field is preferred.
Pharmacy specific certification is preferred.
