Our client is a reputable CPA firm located in Miracle Mile, Los Angeles, specializing in providing comprehensive financial and tax solutions to our clients.

As part of our commitment to excellence, we are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team.

This is a full-time position based in our office, offering competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities :

Manage and maintain accurate financial records for clients using QuickBooks software.

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoice generation, payment processing, and collection efforts.

Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial documents.

Prepare and file sales tax returns, payroll tax returns, and other regulatory compliance reports as required.

Generate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements and tax documents for clients.

Collaborate with the CPA team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Conduct periodic audits of financial transactions and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Maintain organized and up-to-date financial files and documentation.

Stay informed about changes in tax laws, accounting regulations, and industry best practices.

Requirements :

Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a CPA firm or similar environment.

Proficiency in using QuickBooks software is essential.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines effectively.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Knowledge of payroll processing and sales tax regulations is a plus.

Familiarity with tax preparation software is a plus.
