Job descriptionStrong organizational skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality in working with sensitive information. Experience working with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint Excel and the ability to work with mainframe database systems. Experienced in providing customer service. Proficient written and oral communications skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Interaction with continuing students, prospective students, faculty and staff of the college. Interaction with Federal and State officials. Bachelor's degree At least 6 months in financial aid office and / or other significant work experience General office setting with moderate noise level Cover Letter Resume

Counsel and assist prospective and continuing students through the financial aid process.
Duties :
- Coordinates the financial aid process.
- Counsel and assist prospective and continuing students through the financial aid process.
- Packaged and award financial assistance to prospective and continuing students.
- Serve as the back up to the Information manager (IM) when IM is not in the office.
- Verify submitted financial documents against information submitted on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
- Additional duties as assigned.
