Job Description
The "FCRM KYC Quality Assurance Manager" is a member of the Financial Crime Risk Management (FCRM) Quality Assurance (QA) Department under TD Bank's Second Line of Defense (2LoD) FCRM Function. The FCRM KYC QA Manager is responsible for the execution of the QA Program's KYC Workstream, which includes : + Lead and support the KYC QA Team Members under their management structure + Overseeing / Contributing to the execution of monthly QA review of High, Medium, and Low Risk Customer KYC Files + Perform secondary review of other KYC QA Team Members or First Line of Defense (1LoD) QA Functions + Lead KYC QA Validation and Reporting activities
The Manager, Financial Crime Risk Management role leads and develops a team of professionals who provides oversight, expert policy / regulatory guidance and advisory services and / or a control function related to specialized domains of TD's AML / ATF / Sanctions / ABAC programs. This role provides specialized project support or services. This role supports the development and maintenance of TD's FCRM program, including assigning workflow to analysts, providing governance and support, and addressing and escalating issues. Additionally, this role oversees the timely execution of periodic and / or event driven reviews using a risk-based approach to align with policy and regulatory requirements.

Education & Experience
Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience 7+ years experience Preferred Skills : 3 years experience working in a challenge (QA / Testing) or advisory / oversight function with direct exposure to Customer Risk / Know Your Customer (KYC) Processes. Skilled knowledge and familiarity with KYC (CIP, CDD, EDD) Regulatory requirements Management experience / able to demonstrate strong leadership capabilities
Customer Accountabilities
Manages a team of FCRM professionals providing oversight and control related advisory services to FCRM partners Provides guidance, leadership, coaching and development to ensure operational results and professional / personal development objectives are achieved Works with executive team, senior business management / partners to develop proactive strategies, tactics, policies and programs to effectively manage regulatory / compliance issues Acts as key liaison with partners and external groups and provides FCRM subject matter expertise; partners, as necessary, effectively with key stakeholder groups such as Compliance, Legal, Audit, Risk Coaches to ensure functional / operational problems are handled appropriately, and participates in the negotiation and resolution of complex and / or escalated issues, where necessary Leads and develops FCRM enterprise-wide frameworks, methodologies, policies, standards, procedures in coordination with management in line with TD's FCRM Program Participates in / manages global regulatory examinations and external / internal audits with respect to request for information regarding portfolio, reviewing, packaging and providing information for department executive Takes corrective action and recommends or implements changes to procedures, as required
