Events / Banquet Server The Leonardo seeks an Events / Banquet Server to join our team and mission to fuse science, technology, and art in experiences that inspire creativity and innovation in people of all ages and backgrounds.

• OVERVIEW The ideal candidate will have a background in food service, have excellent customer service skills, thrive while working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment;

WHAT YOU’LL DO DAY-TO-DAY : Setup & Preparation : Assist in setting up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and table settings Customer Service : Greet guests professionally and courteously upon arrival;
• Address guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and with a positive attitude Food & Beverage Service : Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner, following established service standards Clean-Up & Breakdown : Clear tables of dishes, glassware, and utensils as guests finish each course;

Perform post-event cleanup, including the removal of linens and table settings Compliance & Safety : Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines, including food handling procedures and alcohol service laws.

• Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to supervisors promptly T ea mwork : Collaborate effectively with other banquet servers and team members to ensure a cohesive and efficient service Additional responsibilities as needed WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED : Education : High school diploma or GED required Experience : Previous experience as a server or in a banquet / event setting is preferred, but not required Competencies : Knowledge of basic food and beverage service techniques and etiquette;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment; E njoy maintaining a clean and organized work environment;

Have a passion for serving our community Physical / Other Requirements : Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift trays for extended periods.
