Fixed Asset Accounting Consultant

Our Vaco team is partnering with amanufacturingclient in need of support with their fixed asset accounting.As a Vacoconsultant, you leverage your professional passion and demonstrated expertise to help our clientstackle complex business challenges.

This role will require someone to be local to the greater Birmingham area, as the entirety of the projectwill be an on-sitework environment.

All applicants should have a Bachelor's Degree in either Accounting, Finance, or Business.

As a Fixed Asset Accountantyour typical day will involve :

• Managingthe complete lifecycle of fixed assets, including acquisition, depreciation, disposal, and reconciliation, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Assisting with standard month-end processes and procedures as needed.
• Preparing reports and analysis on fixed asset activity, including forecasting depreciation, assessing impairment, and supporting financial reporting requirements.

• This is an interim / contract position, yielding 40 hours / week
