Job Summary : Coordinate the transportation services needed for Fabick Rents and our customers. Job Responsibilities :

• Prioritize, Organize, Communicate, and Document information for all transportation services requested.
• Schedule transportation of equipment for Rental locations utilizing in-house and outside transportation vendors to ensure on-time deliveries and timely return of off-rent equipment.
• Maximize efficiency by logically routing transportation vendors while meeting company and customer needs.
• Maximize productivity by managing the day-to-day operations and schedules of each transportation vendor / driver.
• Communicate with rental staff and customers concerning the location of equipment and provide accurate delivery times before the late arrival of equipment.
• Problem-solve and find solutions for all disputes between Fabick and transportation vendors.
• Direct investigations to resolve customer complaints.
• Responsible for tracking, communicating, and helping to control transportation services costs.
• Analyze expenditures and other financial information to develop plans, policies, and budgets to improve transportation services and increase profits.
• All other duties as assigned. Qualifications :
• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred
• 1 3 years dispatching experience
• Logistics background with strong geographical knowledge of the territory
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment
• Rental industry experience
• High level of attention to detail, communication skills, and customer service required.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Strong knowledge in the areas of buying transportation services and negotiating rates.
• Candidate must possess a strong knowledge of state and local DOT laws. Physical Requirements : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.

The employee frequently is required to sit for long periods, stand, walk, bend, and stoop to perform the essential functions of this job.
