What You Will Do :

As a Manager, EH&S Generalist on the Goleta EHS Team, youll bring your track record of success in continuous improvement and experience implementing and coordinating EH&S programs as well as your ability to prioritize and provide timely support for multiple customers, requests and projects. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will help to influence internal and external groups including engineers, factory line employees and management.

In this role, youll assist in the development and implementation of EHS initiatives, projects and programs that support the global EH&S organization. Your areas of influence will include serving as a technical resource in developing, implementing and leading initiatives in the following areas : electrical safety, explosives safety, non-ionizing / ionizing radiation, laser safety, lockout / tagout (LOTO), cranes / hoists, fall protection, machine guarding, job hazard analysis, powered industrial vehicles, hazardous materials emergency response, industrial hygiene, environmental compliance.

Responsibilities :

• Serving as a technical resource to Raytheon employees within and outside of the EH&S organization, interpreting and applying OSHA, EPA, DOT, NIOSH, ANSI, NFPA, IFC, IBC and other applicable regulations and standards.
• Applying continuous improvement techniques to develop and implement process improvements.
• Supporting in-depth analysis of the business for EH&S improvement opportunities and developing / implementing programs to reduce risk and achieve and maintain compliance.
• Conducting regular site inspections and audits for compliance with EH&S programs.
• Analyzing leading and lagging safety performance indicators for trends to drive corrective actions.
• Conducting injury investigations and root cause analysis, developing corrective actions and tracking to completion.
• Leading projects to ensure promote health and safety of Raytheon employees and contractors.

Travel : 10% travel required to other domestic sites, primarily in support of audits and business level initiatives.

Salary & Benefits

The salary range for this role is 112,000 USD - 224,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidates work experience, location, education / training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and / or the companys performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
