The recruiter is responsible for full life‑cycle recruiting, screening, and recommending placement of staff by using creative sourcing methods and branding strategies for the entire organization. This includes Physicians & Mid‑levels, Executives & Management, IT, Accounting & Billing, Clinical & Administrative Staff, etc. The Recruiter will fill all vacant positions in accordance with the company policies and procedures.
Duties
- Partners with hiring manager(s) to determine staffing needs
- Sources candidates through social media, websites, and talent services
- Screens resumes, conducts phone screens and in‑house interviews, administers appropriate assessments, and determines whether a candidate should be presented as a viable candidate to the hiring manager
- Ensures that all credentialing and vetting is completed prior to the new hire start date, including reference / background checks and pre‑employment vetting
- Provides recommendations for hiring and delivers employment offers for both exempt and non‑exempt positions
- Serves as an expert for recruiting candidates within an assigned industry
- Uses traditional and nontraditional resources to source candidates via career and job fairs, community, industry networking, and events
- Develops advertising programs for internal and external use to ensure visibility with potential candidates
- Communicates important employment information during the new hire onboarding process
- Manages daily reports to ensure current information regarding candidates is accurate
- Provides recruitment metrics reporting as requested
- Manages candidate files and maintains activity logs as required by management
- Follows all applicable Federal and State laws regarding recruitment
