Supervisor Payment Processing

The Supervisor, Payment Processing Operations is accountable for the efficient delivery of high quality and responsive services to queries raised by internal teams on behalf of external customers in relation to pre- and post-transaction queries. This role is accountable for leading, developing and motivating a team to deliver consistent high performance and seamless Client Experience. This may include both on-site and remote team management.

This role is responsible for the performance and development of people; creating an environment which encourages continuous improvement and empowering team managers to identify and implement process changes and efficiencies.

The person in this role will need to show leadership skills and help individuals navigate through Change Management programs.

Responsibilities / Essential Job Functions

  • Lead team huddles to support the review of workload and service priorities, encouraging individuals to actively contribute their ideas, this includes : Monitoring and managing work volumes and allocations to ensure optimal resource utilization and driving efficient and fair output across the team.
  • Build capability within the team through targeted recruitment, effective onboarding, identification of opportunities to build existing skills and the opportunity to cross-train across teams
  • Manage service delivery to ensure performance targets are met, KPI's delivered and adherence to SLA standards, undertaking quality assurance checks for individuals across email / SFDC, providing appropriate feedback and action plans where necessary.
  • Manage attendance in accordance with Company policy and formal tools e.g. Dayforce
  • Collaborate with other Back Office and Middle Office teams.
  • Prepare information and attend Senior Management meetings as required
  • Provide effective and timely recognition of achievements and successes to ensure that high performance is encouraged, and individuals feel valued, through organizational initiatives & mechanisms
  • Lead by example in promoting Client centricity, ensuring this ethos is embedded across the team and delivery processes to support a seamless Client Experience
  • Develop and demonstrate an understanding of the impact of change programs on employees and support employees through changes
  • Ensure any knowledge, learning arising from change implementation and identified best practice is captured, shared, and applied to inform future decisions and actions.

Here are some skills, attributes, and qualifications you will have :

  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience as a Team Leader / Supervisor is preferred.
  • Experience in the financial sector or shared services.
  • Previous experience of lean and agile working methodologies is also desirable.
  • People management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, work accurately and independently.
  • Proven ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Fluency in English both verbal and business writing skills.
  • Proficient computing skills with all common office programs (MS Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
